ending of chapter 1.
I was right be in a hurry. I had only ridden perhaps ten miles inland when I heard something. I came to the top of a rise facing back towards the coast. Down in the city, the forty-foot wall of water was crashing through the streets, making an ominous roaring and hissing sound. I was starting to tire of riding uphill with a heavy pack, so I rode slowly up a valley, and switch backed up one side. I sat there and camped for the night, unable to sleep. What could I do?

Not really enough details about the tsunami, and it jumps right into a completely different topic after that without a new paragraph.

and btw matthias, if you type that all up on a word doc it's probably less than a page long. which might be around two pages in a book. which is really short for a book.
I think the book is dead. plotline could be good, but it should start like the Postman, already into the appocalypse, with some flashbacks. What I've written so far (minus the Prologue) is now deleted
this (from what I've heard) is quite common of Authors, to write the first few pages over and over in different forms.
